Tracey L. Corea (Book/Lyrics, Co-Director/Choreographer) collaborated with Tony-award winning choreographer Wayne Cilento as his Associate Choreographer for over ten years, casting, choreographing, mounting and maintaining many shows including: on Broadway- Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, Johnny Mercer’s Dream, The Who’s Tommy. International and Nat’l Touring companies: Tommy- US, London, Canada, and Germany. Aida- US, Germany, Japan, Korea. Co-choreographer of Barry Manilow’s Copacabana. Director/Choreographer- Tommy at Theatre Under The Stars, Houston TX. Tracey is currently choreographing a production of The Buddy Holly Story in Las Vegas NV.
Tracey's performing credits include concerts with Pete Townshend and Friends (rhythm guitar and vocals at Woodstock ’98 and other venues in the US and UK, two live albums), Broadway- Rent, and the original Bwdy cast of Tommy. Concert Tours: The Pet Shop Boys, Engelbert Humperdinck. Tracey wrote, recorded, and performed in Los Angeles clubs with her original rock band BLUE.
Teaching credits include University of Southern California, Orange County High School of the Arts, and master classes in the US and abroad.
Tracey's diverse background has included many creative positions (writer, director, choreographer, singer, dancer) and many entertainment styles. Tracey's desire to utilize her varied artistic skills in one project, combined with her love of theatre and rock music led her to write LIFE AFTER LIFE, a modern rock musical.
Thaddeus Corea (Composer/Lyrics) has spent his career in the music industry as a composer, recording artist, touring musician, and producer. Thad comes from three generations of professional musicians, his father is jazz legend, CHICK COREA.
Thad is currently a band member of the Las Vegas production of BLUE MAN GROUP, where he plays multiple instruments (bass, chapman stick, drums, percussion). He also owns and operates Jaguar Recording Studio, where he produces, engineers and writes for a wide range of original bands and solo artists. Thaddeus is also the composer/music supervisor for the independent film, One Long Day.
Previously, Thad spent five years with THE WILD COLONIALS on Geffen records, co-writing and recording three albums, and touring nationally. He recorded drums for several movies (DEADMAN'S CURVE, THE ROOKIE, SUNSET HEAT, others), played in several original rock bands, and has played with: Mark Isham, Michelle Shocked, Kate Ceberano (platinum artist Australia), Chick Corea, Roger Capps (Pat Benatar), Michael Carabello (Santana), Justin Meldal-Johnson (Beck), Juliette Lewis, Louis Metoyer (Terence Trent D'Arby), Maxine Nightingale, Lisa Marie Presley (Capitol), and Edgar Winter, to name a few.
Thaddeus played drums for THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW featuring David Arquette (Tiffany Theatre - Los Angeles), the staged reading of BATBOY in NY, and has done dance arrangements and editing for Wayne Cilento productions. While he never guessed he would someday compose a musical, Thaddeus is thrilled to be creating an edgy, contemporary, and emotionally moving score for LIFE AFTER LIFE.
Wayne Cilento (Co-Director/ Choreographer) is currently represented on Broadway with his choreography and musical staging for the record-breaking musical WICKED now playing across the United States and worldwide. For WICKED Mr. Cilento received one of his seven Tony nominations.
For THE WHO'S TOMMY , Mr. Cilento won the 1993 Tony Award for Best Choreography as well as the Drama Desk Award, Fred Astaire Award, and a nomination for the 1997 Laurence Olivier Award for the West End production. He was honored with Tony nominations for the hit revival of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING starring Matthew Broderick, DREAM: THE JOHNNY MERCER MUSICAL, which he also directed, and the 2004 revival of SWEET CHARITY.
Mr. Cilento choreographed the Broadway and international productions of ELTON JOHN AND TIM RICE'S AIDA. He is also the director and choreographer for the critically acclaimed SPIRIT, a contemporary Native American spectacle and an award- winning PBS special.
As a member of the original cast of A CHORUS LINE (in which he played Mike and introduced I Can Do That), Mr. Cilento's long list of credits as a performer on Broadway include THE ACT, SEESAW, PERFECTLY FRANK, IRENE, BIG DEAL, RACHEL LILY ROSENBLUM, and his Tony-nominated performance in Bob Fosse's DANCIN.
In music videos, TV appearances, and concerts, Mr. Cilento has staged such diverse artists as Alicia Key's, Billy Joel, Liza Minnelli, Barry Manilow, Chita Rivera, Donna Summer, Paula Abdul, and Pete Townsend. He created the choreography for JERRY'S GIRLS, received a Tony nomination for BABY, and off-Broadway he choreographed the shows GOLDEN BOY, A HOT MINUTE, and ANGRY HOUSEWIVES.
