Life After Life
- Rebecca McAllen - (mid 20’s) A young woman still reeling from her father's recent death. Having also lost her mother when she was a young teen, Rebecca is angry, confused and on a self destructive path.
- Tony McAllen - (early 50’s) A performer and choreographer in his life. Now deceased he must come to terms with the fact that death was not the end of him. He must handle the many unresolved issues he has with his daughter in order to move on in the afterlife.
- Donna McAllen - (mid to late 30’s) A beautiful singer who passed away in a car accident after catching her husband Tony and best friend Leslie Cunningham, in bed together. She is “stuck in time” due to her inability to forgive Leslie.
- Leslie Cunningham - (mid 40’s) A free spirited Broadway and film star that died from an accidental drug overdose. A brash woman still coping with the guilt she carries concerning her best friend's death, and the mistakes she made in her life.
- Rhett Cunningham - (late 20’s) A conservative and somewhat repressed man that finds himself drawn to Rebecca, despite her unpredictable behavior. His parents divorced when he was a boy and he rarely saw his mother Leslie while growing up.
- Beth - (20’s) Rebecca’s best friend. A high energy, fun loving, New Yorker, that is fascinated by Rebecca’s ability to see ghosts.
- Jake - (mid 40’s) Tony’s witty and more spiritually evolved best friend. A fellow performer that died from AIDS, he greets Tony in the afterlife, and acts as a guide, although he’s not your typical “angel.”
- Young Rhett/Boy - (8-10) strong actor. street dancing skills a plus.
- Ensemble - strong singers/actors that play numerous characters. Specialty skills a plus (aerial silks, dancers, musicians)
- Musicians - onstage rock band that is often integrated into the scenes.
